Josh Doan comes from hockey royalty in the Valley. The son of Coyotes great, Shane Doan, the young forward is blazing a trail of his own in the desert. After playing junior hockey in Chicago, Josh has returned to the Valley to help lead the ASU Hockey program as well as a draft pick of the Arizona Coyotes. The Yotes selected him in the second round (No. 37) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
In his freshman year at ASU, he tailed 36 points on 12 goals and 26 assists and became the highest draft selection in school history.
